Its greatest expansion occurred in the first post-war decades until the 1990s, when the fall of the Belin Wall occurred.
After that event, the USSR falls, preceded by all of Eastern Europe. Among the greatest achievements of communism are the liberation of China, almost all of Africa, the Arab countries, and Southeast Asia. In America, their greatest achievement was the liberation of Cuba and Nicaragua from fierce dictators: Anastasio Somoza and Fulgencio Batista and, by the way, the United States, which sponsored them.
But overcrowding, which was called equality, became the key to understanding its failure. The failure occurred when limiting the inhabitants of the countries under their control to the right to decide for themselves in everything, that is, to be people, they were only what they call comrades, and a comrade was the one who only listened to a radio, that of the government, studied and thought in the universities where the freedom of the professorship, conscience and teaching was forbidden, they dressed and ate with what the communist party bureau decided, they could not go to any part of the country without a permit that gave it to them. The police gave, upon invitation from the person from the other place or from the other country, and even receiving gifts from lovers was illegal and considered prostitution. In African and Arab countries and even Eastern Europe, communism evolved into fierce dictatorships, worse than those from which they had freed themselves.
Capitalism, which started as a cult of human freedom, evolved into what is now called runaway capitalism, where one percent of the population in capitalist countries have more than 50% of the country's wealth and 99% of the inhabitants vie for the other half. Capitalism that considers money as more valuable than life itself, starts from the colonial criteria of the exploitation of human beings and the exploitation of natural resources. This concept of exploitation, that is to say, taking advantage of something or someone until this or this human being is exhausted, made all the scruples lose to the point that these countries, preserving the Roman tradition, considered war as a survival necessity. .
In response to these two forms of government, in Northern Europe such as Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland they began to create a system that can be called state capitalism, in which the state becomes the main investor, especially in health, education, and mega constructions, which become essential to modernize and develop the countries and that the country's large capitals consider to be a risk.
China, which is governed by the Communist Party, realized that modernizing the country with private initiative alone was a problem. The Chinese State became the largest investor with gigantic works such as roads, trains, hydroelectric plants, hospitals, universities, but it gave the green light to private companies in which the workers are at the same time shareholders of the company and these companies have freedoms that allow them To be innovative, to the point that companies like Huawei have developed 5G technology and have put China at an advantage over the United States in this technology, which is the engine of the near future. Today China, the country ruled by the largest communist party in the world, is the third country with the most billionaires.
But then where was communism? It is evident that communism was a form of government that worked when communications, transportation, technological changes, human mobility was another, when the world was not transforming at the speed it is now transforming and did not emerge from anywhere in the world. other types of human beings, who can choose everything, despite their poverty, because poverty is only the place from which one has to escape, to look for other places where people can choose and decide on everything.
Today when we are entering an electoral period in the United States and some countries in Latin America, voters have to choose between the path of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, which guarantees equality to many but forces them to live as the party or the ruler wants. , under the terrible and implacable harassment of the United States, which is the cause of poverty in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua. who justifies his actions because he wants humans not to be managed like sheep to the slaughterhouse, as people without options, without the possibility of choosing something other than what the ruling party and its leader want.
