But the wars of independence in Latin America differed from the wars of independence in the United States in something fundamental, that in Latin America these wars were a mechanism to create and multiply hatred of Spain and Portugal, while the independence of the United States was the mechanism for England, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and many of the British colonies to end up being allies as was experienced in the First and Second World Wars, in the Cold War and now in the so-called war on narco-terrorism and the migratory war or the commercial and technological war against China and Russia.

This hatred of Spain and Portugal was the key to dividing the countries of Latin America and becoming easy prey to the British and North American empires. The ideal of freedom, equality, and fellowship, or the pursuit of happiness, in Latin America, became a lie.

Freedom was for whites, Catholics, men, and rich people, not for women, indigenous people, blacks, mestizos, nor for the poor whoever they are, until today, nor for those of other religions, we were forced to see ourselves as enemies The one who was on the other side of some borders invented by the rich Creoles of each country, and we end up hating each other among Latin Americans until today, we even hate each other among the different regions of each country, such as between coastal and highland in Ecuador, or between Hoaronis and Taromenanis in the Ecuadorian Amazon or among relatives.

This Latin American tragedy that began 200 years ago and that now each country celebrates as a celebration of independence, is totally different from the independence festivals of the former British colonies, where many of them still pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth the Second. the United States is admired for its achievements, all that is Anglo-Saxon culture, and they even promise solidarity among themselves

 After the wars of independence, we ended up as debtors from England, which took over, for a century, our ports and commerce, after the United States from the 19th century, which made us its backyard, with the Monroe Doctrine and exclusive suppliers of raw materials, cheap labor, and now modern so-called illegal, minor and white slaves.

These women are now submissive allies of a banker, who is part of the white, Catholic, wealthy of Guayaquil. that has benefited from the banking crisis of 1999. like no other Ecuadorian, while millions escaped from this national tragedy, as legal and illegal migrants to Europe and the United States, most of them indigenous, mestizo and Afro alike, from the Sierra, the Coast, and the poor Amazon, which until now have escaped poverty through the borders of Ecuador.

Today, on the first day in power of Guillermo Lasso, he pointed out that the days of the caudillos in Ecuador are over, but we all know that traitors, opportunists, liars have been in power, and the oligarchs have returned.

To realize this, it is enough to see who are those who are going to occupy key positions in their government and we realize that they are people from the so-called cream and cream of Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca, like their vice president and who were the invited foreign characters. to the possession of Lasso, for example the presence of the disgusting president of Brazil, guilty of the sanitary and environmental tragedy of the South American giant, was one of the guests, as was Aznar from Spain, Duque from Colombia, Piñeras from Chile today part of the worst moments in the history of those countries.

But the inevitable non-compliance of vaccine suppliers that are not enough to meet world demand in a short time makes vaccination in Ecuador have a facade of yet another lie like the many of Lenín Moreno, who established the lie, the betrayal, and political persecution as forms of government in Ecuador.

But the cynicism became a speech when he said that in his government there will be no political persecution, but he will continue with the persecution and punishment of those sentenced for the dubious justice of Lenín Moreno's times, the so-called LAW FARE that Donald used Trump, to avoid the triumphs of Lula, in Brazil, Correa, in Ecuador, Lugo, in Paraguay, Evo Morales in Bolivia, where he also used a military coup, and in Brazil a parliamentary coup. Because he is lying when he says that there will be no political persecution but keeps Jorge Glass in prison, who was the victim of legal proceedings that have nothing to do with justice and does not defend the rights of an Ecuadorian-Australian like Julián Assange. After listening to Guillermo Lasso's speech, I am sure that we are on the road to hell, because the road to hell is made of good intentions, and we are dragged to hell by the bankers, the indigenous people called Ponchos Dorados, the pandemic, the economic crisis, chronic dependence on raw materials, which have brutal ups and downs that wreck economies, and countries like Ecuador go from bonanza to tragedy.

I know for sure that Lasso is only the continuation of Moreno, by the guests at the inauguration ceremony, who are the same ones who supported Moreno. and they carry hatred turned into fanaticism against the socialism of the XXI century and because Moreno will leave this country after plunging us into the worst moment of our republican history due to the number of dead, sick, the few vaccinated, and corruption in the middle of the pandemic.

I know we are on that path because my daughters do not want to return to Ecuador because my relatives and neighbors die or are in macabre poverty because leaving home has become a danger and because the needy turned into beggars or criminals who bring me closer. I know that this country is on the road to hell because at the Latacunga, Quito or Guayaquil airports, and on all the beaches, people again say goodbye to their relatives and friends who lost all hope in the future of this country, with tears. and in the new government of Lasso already before his possession.
