It is clear that the health crisis created by Covid 19, produced a spectacular mortality especially in Guayaquil, which spread panic throughout the country, this allowed the government to overcome the uncomfortable situation it had been facing, such as the violent strikes in October, due to the IMF measures, including the increase in fuels.

The quarantine, social distancing and the lack of control of the pandemic, have allowed the Moreno government to get away with it and impose IMF measures, in exchange for money, that due to the pandemic and inoperability, no one knows where has gone to stop.

While in the streets the situation is visible with closed stores and commercial premises, apartments and even abandoned buildings, people on the sidewalks asking for charity with a sign around their necks, at night those who collect plastics and other garbage products are like ants

In the houses the coins are not enough and hunger, which in the United States, the world's leading power, becomes visible with columns of people asking for and receiving food, in Ecuador the government that has no resources for anything better does not look into the eyes of His town..

The loans offered by Lenin Moreno are intended for someone, who receives them in advance, is a distribution between cronies of everything, which was seen with the disabled cards, not to pay taxes, or to bring luxury cars, with scholarships, the embassies, now with credits, which have become capital flight.

But the population has remained relatively calm, due to the fact that the elections monopolize the attention and have become, like the vaccine, the last hope.

For the voters, what they want is to end this government, and what this government wants is to avoid the return of Rafael Correa at all costs.

For almost 4 years the slogan has been to prevent Correa and his loyal followers from returning to power, now that there are so many hidden accounts and abnormalities in this government, just to think that they will be judged with the same severity and viciousness, as the lived since 2017, scares them so they don't care, prevent candidate Araúz from winning, carry out frade, or promote a coup.

But the situation is out of control, it is no longer possible to bear these anguish, the fears are staying at home, while the courage begins to surround the Carondelet Palace, which for months has been armored with bars and spikes, to prevent the town approach the Plaza Grande.

Fear evolves into anger, the minute that passes is one more that multiplies the contempt for this government and its allies, which guarantees that the next government cannot belong to someone who was linked or favored, or is an enemy of Correa, because Araúz and Correa represent the opposition turned into martyrdom, pain, tears, like those of the thousands of dead and sick of their relatives, friends or acquaintances, who saw them suffer or leave in these months.

It is almost certain that if Arauz does not win the peace he will not return, we are all preparing for a new war against the government that comes, from our trenches, which are now in a thousand different ways, some use the internet, others radio, television, the marches, the roadblocks, the non-payment of taxes, every day a new way appears to make it difficult for him to govern a bad government.

The next government will surely not have the backing of the United States, nor of the new ambassador of that country in Ecuador, who were the ones who sustained Moreno, who cannot stand in front of anyone, nor is he his own feet. The days of the neoliberal night in Ecuador are numbered. but we do not know how many more deaths will be necessary.

 But it strikes me that the candidates for the presidency of Ecuador have not realized that winning in these elections is the worst thing that can happen to them, if they do not have immediate solutions, or good popular support.
